HMS Superb, built by Armstrong,launched 7/11/1907. Sold for breaking up at Dover,12/12/1922.

HMS Superb, Built by Armstrong, Elswick, HMS Superb was at the The Battle of Jutland and was also the first Royal navy Flagship to enter the Black Sea during the Turkish Operations she stayed there from 1916 to 1919 After the war she was placed in reserve and then used as a target ship during 1920. Finally scrapped in 1922.

1st Battle Squadron Grand Fleet.

January-March 1915 refit at Portsmouth.

10 November 1915 transferred to 4th Battle Squadron.

May 1916 served as flagship 4th Battle Squadron whilst HMS Emperor of India in refit.

Present at the Battle of Jutland 1916. Fired 54 12in rounds and received no damage.

October 1918 detached to Eastern Mediterranean Squadron and became Flagship of Vice-Admiral Gough-Calthrope.

December 1922 sold for scrap.
