HMS Bellona, built by Pembroke Dockyard, launched 20/3/1909.

HMS Bellona War Service
Attached to Grand Fleet Battle Squadrons.
1912: During Naval Manoeuvres the ship rolled her mainmast overboard.
31 May-1 June 1916: took part in the Battle of Jutland.(Capt. A.B.S. Dutton)
June 1917: converted to lay mines.

Sold for breaking up 9/5/1921.


3350 tons, 18,000 horsepower and 25 knots speed. Her length, beam, and draught were 385ft, 41ft, and 13ft.
