The Ship


Scrapped 1933


Caronia served successfully on the Liverpool-New York route. During the First World War she was used as an armed merchant cruiser and as a troopship. She returned to the North Atlantic, and underwent refits in 1920 and 1926. Latterly, she was used as a cruise ship, before being taken out of service in 1931. She was scrapped in Japan in 1933.
